Family Matters BiSanDiego - BiSanDiego.org is a nonprofit online resource serving San Diego's bisexual and bifriendly community. Links to local and national GLBT news are provided, as well as upcoming events, bisexual links, and information on current activities of San Diego's bisexual groups, including BiPol, Bi Forum, and Woman-2-Woman. Featured also is BiTalk - a new online discussion forum for the community. HRC - www.HRC.org (Human Rights Campaign) HRC works for Gay and Lesbian equal rights. This organization is up to date on all political matters regarding 'gay' rights. Also, for "COMING OUT" try their Resource Guide GLSEN - www.glsen.org (Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network) National organization whose goal is to assure that each member of every school community is valued and respected, regardless of sexual orientation. GLSEN's site has information on how to start a gay/straight club - click on their student pride page. GLAAD is always up to date and very informative. Lambda Legal - www.lambdalegal.org The nation's oldest and largest legal organization working for the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, and people with HIV/AIDS. This site has the latest legal news. International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission - the only organization in the world that is exclusively focused on fighting against torture, incarceration, forced psychiatric "treatment", and other human rights atrocities around the world against individuals due to their sexual orientation. Families United Against Hate - www.fuah.org is a grassroots national network created by and for families and survivors of hate motivated violence. It is a project of PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) in collaboration with other organizations and individuals. PFLAG National - Opening the Straight Spouse's Closet - a booklet, addresses the feelings that straight spouses and their children experience, and the coping stages that they go through. Reactions of shock and grief, empathy and acceptance are shared by men and women as they work toward rebuilding and resolution in their lives.
